Santa Clara Old Quad
The Old Quad neighborhood is the historic epicenter of Santa Clara—home to Santa Clara University, Mission Santa Clara De Asis, and the popular shopping center Franklin Square. This is also the place to experience our delectable local delicacy, Stan’s Donuts, and walk the streets where our bustling city got its humble start. You can also visit local museums like the Triton Museum of Art and De Saisset Museum.
Beyond the Santa Clara University campus, Old Quad is also a point of interest for anyone admiring the craftsmanship of Santa Clara’s Victorian Homes. The surrounding neighborhood provides a quaint and casual experience for anyone looking to enjoy the laid-back energy of an old-California neighborhood with a healthy mix of college students and families.

Rivermark
The Rivermark District is a small but mighty area of Santa Clara’s essential outdoor attractions in our city. Lace up your running shoes and walk, run, or bike alongside the scenic Guadalupe River. Ulistac Natural Area is our community’s hidden gem – a protected city park boasting a vibrant array of the region’s most iconic flora.
Meanwhile, the nearby Thamien Park and Live Oak Park are easily accessible on foot, with Lick Mill Park just a bit farther away.
Families with younger children in the Rivermark district will likely gravitate toward Montague Park. Located at the southern end of the neighborhood, the park is outfitted with several sports fields, a pool, a playground, and more, making it a dynamic spot to let the kids play without worry. Meanwhile, The Rivermark Village Shopping Center covers all your shopping and dining needs.

Central Park
This neighborhood is home to the largest park in Santa Clara, Central Park, which includes a lake, pavilion, and the Santa Clara Community Recreation Center. The latest addition to the park is the Magical Bridge Playground, a large, inventive kids’ area prepped for any style of play that youngins’ can imagine. The foundation responsible for the park often schedules live music and events to keep kids entertained.

Lawrence
Lawrence is a neighborhood defined by the north-south parkway that serves as a main road dividing Santa Clara and neighboring Sunnyvale, California. Lawrence Plaza is a popular shopping center at these crossroads and shares several restaurants and shops with the interconnected El Camino Real district. Lawrence Station also serves as a major Caltrain stop, which allows easy rail access to both downtown San Jose and downtown San Francisco.

Stevens Creek
Stevens Creek covers the entirety of Santa Clara’s southern border. Primarily residential, the neighborhood remains busy as a major shopping destination due to the presence of Westfield Valley Fair, the most profitable mall in the state of California, as well as the neighboring luxury shopping strip, Santana Row.
The area also features several parks, including Westwood Oaks, Maywood, and Parkway parks.

Northside
Though home to many of the city’s iconic tech companies, Northside is better known for its incredible events. Levi’s® Stadium, California’s Great America, and the Santa Clara Convention Center are all located within a mile of one another, and plenty of hotels give visitors the opportunity to stay immersed in this vibrant section of the city.
The neighborhood is also home to the Our Lady of Peace Shrine, an iconic 32-foot-tall statue of the Virgin Mary. Mercado Santa Clara provides all other dining and shopping needs for the area’s residents.
In addition to local attractions, this is also home to many of the city’s innovative tech companies, including Intel, Chegg, and SoundHound, as well as Mission College, a local community college.

Pruneridge is home to Pruneridge Golf Club, the only course and driving range in the city. Aces Icehouse is also located on the grounds and serves as one of Santa Clara’s favorite laid-back outdoor bars and restaurants.
